“We stayed in the Pommard apartment that is connected to the hotel. We had a nice sized terrace but had to clean the table and chairs to be able to used them. The rest of the apartment was very clean and we did appreciate the expresso machine filled with beans when we arrived and refilled after three days. We wish that the door to the hallway was better insulated for sound and not next to the bed. We were able to hear every person who entered their apartments from the lobby up the stairs and the closing of the doors. The elevator is very small so family groups climbed the wooden stairs, sometimes up the four floors and this can make a lot of noise. It is an old building that has been renovated but this means that the sound of people above you and below transfers very easily. You might need earplugs to sleep. The bedroom does not have enough electric outlets next to the bed. We do wish that some of the front desk staff were a bit more attentive to people coming and going into the hotel. Sometimes they never looked up from their computers or bothered to say bonjour when we arrived or entered the lobby. Actually one man never spoke to us at all during our seven day stay while female staff were mostly friendly.”
“A large apartment with lots of space, centrally located to sites and restaurants. It was very clean and comfortable. The shower room was well lit and had a washing machine but was at the other end of apartment from the bedroom. A separate toilet was appreciated. Separate lounge and kitchen area was spacious. All modern, clean and comfortable. There was no hanging space in the bedroom only drawers which was a bit odd as there is ample room for a wardrobe. The hanging space was actually the utility closet at the front door. Would highly recommend.”
“Perfect place to stay for a new nights in Dijon. The breakfast was nice, not outstanding but good. The rooms are clean, and ours had an extra room to store luggage and clothes. The staff was super helpful and nice. The location of the hotel is ideal, very centrally located. Parking is tricky, we were lucky getting a parking lot right in front of the hotel. We would come again!”
“This was the town that we selected from Annacy to Paris to stop over might. I will admit my expectations were not high. Hotel Des Ducs exceeded them! They have a small indoor parking garage that will hold about six to seven cars. We were able to get one of the spots. They have rooms on site and about two blocks away. We were in the off-site location. It was a great location, quiet and close to the courtyard of the palace. The room was amazing, great bed, and very clean. It had a mini fridge, coffee and espresso maker ( perfect touch). The hotel is surrounded by night life and restaurants. I would also recommend doing the owl trail to lean more about the history of Dijon. Enjoy!”
